ABOUT HOWLIN’ LAMB
Boston-based lifestyle blog for the curious twenty-something set. Visit Howlin’ Lamb for ideas on your next Friday night — whether you’re looking to carouse with thirty of your closest friends or pretend to be fancy — and check in again on Sunday for brunches and local boutiques to while away your afternoon.
The “Howlin” of Howlin’ Lamb, thanks to my middle name – Howland. A New Englander in most ways, a Midwesterner in some, I love a homemade brunch as much as I love a brisket sandwich — both of which you can get your fill in Boston. You can find me carrying a twenty pound box of vegetables home for my farm share (hint: you cannot possibly eat thirty potatoes by yourself in a week), perusing the cocktail menu of any and all restaurants (I’m a sucker for anything with gin and grapefruit), or checking out the sale at Crate & Barrel (do I need another cheese board? Why, yes, I think I do). I think I speak for us both when I say we look forward to sharing our experiences in Boston.

The latter half of HL. Originally a die-hard PA girl who was transplanted to Boston, I’ve grown to really appreciate this beautiful city, even though nobody ever tries to sell you a $5 sea turtle on the subway (Philly people know what I’m talking about). When I’m not instant messaging Sophie recipes or room decor photos at work, I can usually be found at Healthworks Back Bay sweating the consulting out, sewing in my room, running on the Charles, or cooking up really ambitious meal plans that leave my kitchen in a state of emergency. My current great passion is turning all the creepy OkCupid messages I get into facebook statuses and revelling in the attention. I’m a big believer in saying yes to everything, which has led me to tracking bedbugs in Philly during a heatwave, running half marathons in various cities, and an ill-fated month where I tried to take up the baritone. I always respond to seemingly creepy people on the street when they try and talk to me; most everyone has a story worth hearing. I look forward to sharing part of my story with you and hope to hear yours in the process.
