Back on the local food grind for a second week, and it was even better than the first.
Sup Lambs? As we promised last week, I’ve dedicated the month of January to purchasing my groceries locally. And by locally, I mean grown or produced in our area! I was pretty nervous to do this in the thick of winter, so I’m excited to share how the first week of our experiment went.
As we alluded to in yesterday’s Smorgasbord, Sophie and I are psyched to announce our latest project. We had so much fun with our local shopping guides during the holidays that we wanted to extend the local business mindset to our main area of consumption- food! I will be buying my groceries from local shops for the month of January.
